On November 9, Per Wallentin, CEO and President of Knowit, will be presented as the new Chairman of the Board of TechSverige. Per Wallentin replaces Pär Fors who has announced that he wishes to resign as he has taken up a new position as CEO of a company in Denmark.
On November 10-11, Advania will host a session on Digital Leadership. In 2021, Advania is one of the Womentor program's host companies.
On 12 November, our industry policy expert Fredrik Sand comments on the National Cyber Security Centre's first conference.
- Mutual information exchange between authorities and companies will be essential if Sweden is to seriously improve cyber security. TechSverige and our member companies wish the center's newly appointed director Therese Naess all the best and want to emphasize that we are happy to contribute to the work ahead.
The IT Competence Council will meet on November 17. Beatrice Silow, Nexer Group's Head of Communications and Culture, takes over as the new chairman of TechSverige's IT Competence Council.
On November 18, TechSverige organized the fourth edition of AI SUMMIT, this time together with AI Sweden. During the event, the latest in AI was presented by several key people in the field. In addition, Danica Kragic Jensfelt, professor at KTH and one of Sweden's leading robot researchers, received the award AI Swede of the Year 2021. AI Swede of the Year is an award presented by TechSverige. The award goes to a person who has contributed to the development and visibility of Swedish AI.
On 22 November, TechSverige, together with other member organizations of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, will publish the document Priorities for Sweden's Presidency of the EU in 2023.
On November 22, TechSverige's Åsa Zetterberg and Ana Andric, industry policy expert, participated in KTH's webinar series What are the best practices in reskilling for employability? TechSverige emphasized the need for strong short- and long-term efforts to get more people interested in, trained for, and taking the step to jobs in the tech sector.
